Trying to add an azure pipelines bot to a newly created private channel in Teams. I try to add the app to a team, and then search for the new channel and it does not populate in the window. The other channels for the team do appear in the dropdown.
@jlinker after some research I found that some bots aren't able to be used in private channels. I believe this is one of those situations. I was able to add the bot to a new team with an open channel within.
Currently, private channels support connectors and tabs (except Stream, Planner, and Forms). We're working on full apps support for private channels, including messaging extensions and bots.
Azure Pipelines is a bot and messaging extention.
