Can't login to Microsoft Teams (both desktop and web clients) using home WIFI

Teams fails to login using my personal WIFI, however it logins fine when using USB modem.

 

I get this message at the bottom left corner of the window:

Error code - online_check_failed: exceeded retry attempts
Failed to connect to settings endpoint

 

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing teams with no luck. Teams web client also fails to login.

Is there any settings/ port restrictions configured in your router?

No or not that I've recently changed.

I forgot to mention that this is an intermittent issue. Sometimes it happens several hours during the day and then works again or it can go on for days failing to login.

The android mobile app logins fine using the same network.

Seems like a device issue! Can you try another computer on the same network?

Any third party firewalls running?
