Can't join a specific group on Microsoft Teams

Please help!

After I log on to microsoft teams, I go to choose the group i want to join and a pop-up window appears asking me to verify my identity. It seems to have the correct telephone number in order to send me a text, but it does not have the option to send one. Additionally, it does not let me enable advanced diagnostics.

I am still able to access another group I am a part of. Additionally, other people within the group I want to join still have access to that group.

Do you know the Team owner or any of the administrators of the Team?

Reach out to them and get them to add you to the Team. Alternatively, see if you can do it in either the web client (teams.microsoft.com) or on the Teams mobile app.

thanks - we are the team owners and inititated the group! All other group memebrs can access it but not me !
