Can not see files I uploaded in one chat room.

Hello All,

 

I can not see any files uploaded by me or anyone else in one Teams Chat.

I am able to in all all Teams Chat and "Teams."

When I go to the "Microsoft Teams Chat Files" in either OneDrive or SharePoint the files are there and I am able to open/edit/and delete the files which then update for all others users in the chat.

If someone else posts a file to the chat I am able to see it in the chat though when I go to the files tab it is missing.

If someone else takes a file that either I or another member of the chat uploads and creates a new tab with this file I am able to see and edit the file.

 

I have tried completely closing out of Teams, I have tried clearing multiple Teams cache files and I have completely shut down then restarted my PC.

 

Any ideas on what to try next?

@AdamE165   So when you share they are able to see, while they share you cannot see it but you can see it if that is put as a TAB,

 

so try first thing to check is the security of those files, secondly creating another group chat with those users, third trying to check the web client wit the old group or new group created to see if you see the files online.

 

if you can see the files on the web version of teams then it is something with your desktop client completely unistall Teams and reinstall the latest version.
