Can I restrict number of attendees to a Teams meeting?

Copper Contributor

Hello!

I'm organising a training session using Teams. There will be 3 dates people can choose from - they just need to opt into 1 session and places are limited.

I was going to use EventBrite to 'cap' the maximum number of attendees at 20 people per session but wondered if Teams had the ability to do this instead.

Does anyone know if you can set a limit of 20 people for a meeting that you might send to, say, 250 people where it's "first in, best dressed"?

Thanks!

No, there is not way to define the maximum number of attendees in a specific meeting. What you can do is just control who bypass the lobby and make sure every folk bypassing it is just an attendee in the meeting so you can have everything under your control
