Can I link a file to many folders within one channel

Hi,

I have a Word document within a folder in a Channel.

I want to know if I can link this document into another folder in the same channel so that if I make changes to one version, then the changes will also reflect on the document in the other folder?

This would help eliminate 2 many versions of the word document in one channel.

Whats the purpose, especially in the same channel?
Why not tab the document in the channel?
