Many of our users are reporting "camera not working" issue in Teams for the last few weeks. Audio is working, but the camera is not - sometimes it shows 'camera disabled' message and other times it simply does not show any error but camera is not working. When we restart the teams it starts working again, other times it requires a PC restart.
Most common issues are observed on Tuesdays, probably linked to the Teams updates being released on Tuesdays.
Please provide a permanent fix since it is frustrating to keep restarting every time.
Also, please confirm how to disable automatic updates for Teams? We want to do manual updates by IT team for senior management users to avoid hassles during their important meetings.
