camera keeps on freezing when in team call on win 10 Surface pro 6.

Hi All

First time here, so be nice please.

I am having issue recently with Teams when I'm on a teams video call. My camera keeps on freezing and i have to stop and start my camera .. this works for 1 mins then freezes again.

I have updated my drivers for my camera which is  intel AVStream Camera 2500. I noticed also the the camera indicator light disappears on the top of the surface aswell. 

Another user in my company also has this issue but they are on surface pro 5.

I have checked no other program is using the camera such as skype, also uninstalled and reinstalled the driver.

Hi, the registry change in this article https://windows101tricks.com/webcam-freezes-windows-10/ will quite often solve Windows 10 webcam freezing problems.  Definitely worth a try.

Were you able to solve your problem? I have exactly the same problem on a Surface Pro 3.

@JorgeReisHi Mate - did you solve your issue with Camera freezing in eams and Win 10 on your Surface Pro 3?  I am having the same issue.  It works fine for me in Zoom calls, and Google Meet calls too.  Weird.
