Currently when in outlook contacts.
When I choose a contact (right click, call) SFB Client is being opened.
Can I change this to use Teams instead to make the phone call?
(Teams licensed for Phone System and phone number allocated)
Also is there any update on calling contacts (roadmap) for teams?
Ie Select a contact in Teams and call the user's mobile or office number etc.
Finally will outlook contacts be surfaced in teams?
Thanks

SolutionHi,
You have to register tel: links in Windows so that they are registered to use Teams instead of Skype.
Check it out here http://www.lync.se/?p=538
I Teams you can go to Calls button > Select Contacts, find your contact (it displays your contacts from Outlook) and press the three dots to the right of the contact, you should then see a menu with all numbers.

Thanks both for the reply.
So tel:xxx I had setup and it opens Teams fine.
However calling from within outlook contacts fires up SFB.
Perfect answer re calling from within contacts. Thanks (Completely missed that).
In some ways the above is less of an issue as the method of using contacts in teams will covers most situations.
Can I ask a further basic question.
Thanks
