Calendar

Brass Contributor

Hi

Is it possible to see my manager and colleague calendar like what I am able to within Outlook web access (OWA).

currently in teams, I can schedule meeting but I can view my manager's calendar and have to switch to OWA for the purpose.

Kindly advise the necessary. Thank you.

Regards,

James

The calendar tab in Teams will only show you your own calendars! You can try add the path to others in a website tab. This one will be listed in the channel for every member to see though! Although they can’t access it without proper logins.

You have the scheduling assistant exposed in the meeting creation dialog though, same as with Outlook, so you can check the availability of any (internal and federated) recipients there.

Hi @Vasil Michev  I know about scheduling assistant when creating an event in the calendar. My original question is about viewing. I want to see the calendar from my manager and those that have already shared with me. I can see them in OWA but not in teams. So I want to know if there is a way or there is no.

@jameshoty at this stage the calendar in Teams will only show you your calendar, there's no way to see other calendars, yet, and I'm not sure that it's even on the MS Teams development team's radar.

I've seen other people ask similar questions, one person said that they were wanting to get rid of email completely, but they forgot that Teams relies on Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, OneDrive and SharePoint online.

Schedule View in Outlook is your best bet at this stage.

Thanks @adam deltinger  for sharing this "not-so-pleasant" reply.
