There is a uservoice for busy options, such as Busy on Busy (Busy Tone) and Busy to Voicemail.

I have voted for this and would recommend others do too. I would also recommend raising this at the next general Teams AMA when it comes up later in the year. I think this is a key functionality to have. Just need more voices to push it up the agenda.

I remember the discussion about this feature in SfB. There are some reasons like Contact Center where this feature is useful.

 

Is it just "nice to have" or a specific scenario you plan ?

@okoerber , yes, contact centre is one of the scenarios but also for common area phones in hospitality or healthcare this is often requested.

@Giuseppe Tristano Now it's available. You can configure busy on busy via Teams Admin Center and there within the VoIP calling policies.

@Erik Kleefeldt But be aware of some issues qith the Q.850 Error Code today.

REASON: Q.850;cause=63;text="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx;User is busy and currently active on another call." 

If you use a SBC with a ISDN-Link and the SBC is unable to rewrite the Q.850 Code to a 17, then the PBX may start redialing due an "unknown error"
