My new business account is currently showing as personal, therefore I cannot access the features I require. How can I change this?

@DH_Digital_Training I assume you've been using an existing account for the business subscription (basic/standard)? Not sure how the process of upgrading goes, if that's the case here, but maybe you should refresh settings by signing out from Teams manually and back in. And to be sure of no cache related issues you can use Teams on the web to verify. When signing in with an account/subscription that includes full Teams, all features are normally already available.
As you have upgraded to a business subscription you're eligible for official Microsoft support
