Bug or Behavior? Status changes to In Meeting even not joined in meeting

I am facing problem, my status changing to In Meeting automatically, when time meets the scheduled meeting in the calendar.

Is this valid behavior in MS Teams?

Replication steps:

1. Schedule a meeting in a calendar of MS Teams.

2. Your status is automatically changes to In Meeting, even you not joined in meeting.

Why it changing the status, even am not joined or meeting not started case?

Because it reflects your calendar! So for example it will say in meeting if you are in a physical meeting as well

You can also set different status modes when creating the meetings in outlook
