Copper Contributor

Hi All,

I need help on this. Is it possible if we want to broadcast announcement to all users in organization without creating a channel? And is there any restriction setting can be done for the broadcast message?

The usual solution is to use an org-wide team (or any other team that has all the relevant users added as members), then publish "announcement" type of messages in the General channel. You can restrict who's able to do that, as well as restrict replies to the announcements, if needed.

Or use good old email, nothing wrong with that you know :)
Alternatively, there's other ways of doing this as well. Microsoft created an open source app called Company Communicator which uses Teams to send messages to large groups of users. You can find it at the link below.

for testing org-wide team, is it possible if we test it out without blasting to them yet? or else it will goes wrong.
It's like posting to any other team, the only difference is that the membership of the org-wide team is managed automatically.
