Hi Bryan, Do we have update on this? This is one major blocker to use Teams breakout room during learning session.

Clarifying question.
I have 386 people invited to my optional teams meeting but not everyone will attend, I'm guessing that only around 100 will actually join the meeting and attend.
Q1. Once the meeting is started, if there's less than 300 people attending, can I create breakout rooms and can I use the automatically assign to rooms?
Q2. I read that if I create the breakout room ahead of time, it will limit the number of people who can attend to 300 (which I'm fine with). If I do that, can I automatically assign people to the breakout rooms after the meeting starts (since it will not let me select that option ahead of time due to the size being over 300)?
Any other help or assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, - Kevin
