Best way to setup people that access Teams from two organizations

Copper Contributor

I am setting up a Microsoft Teams group for our local Community Center. There are number of volunteers that also use MT at their place of work.

To make things as easy and streamlined as possible, is it best for them to use the same email to join our MT and their work MT? Or is it better to keep things separate and have them join our Community Center MT using a personal email?

Hi,

If you set them up with their Teams work address they will be able to switch organisation in the same Teams client and that is easier for them. If you set them up with another e-mail address they will have two accounts and they will have to sign out from Teams and then sign in again.

Even if switching organisation have some problems, like no notifications or calls to your home org when switched, it is easier for the users to use the same account and use organisation switching.
