Hi , I am hoping someone may be able to help.

My colleague has an issue where the audio setting reset every day on his computer. So when calling on Microsoft teams the microphone and speakers do not work. I can hear him, but cannot hear me.

Each day he has to reboot his computer once he has changed the settings within Microsoft, so he can then call using Microsoft teams.

I do not understand why the settings do not save?  

When we try to re-enable audio settings we have to shut down and restart. We think it may be something to do with the headphone jack?

I'm having this issue too even though the UserVoice (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18893320-save-audio-video-devi...) indicates this was fixed back in Dec 2018. I have a new version of the Teams client (1.3.00.19173, x64)
