Hello Samantha,
I am working on a Windows 10 and Windows 7 with French Regional Settings and Language. When Teams installs on any of these 2 environments I get the french canadian language each time Teams is updated.
Was this issue fixed with the latest version (January 31st) ? I did not yet experienced agains this problem.

Hi Samantha!
I am a teacher of English in Spain and I would like to see a correct Spanish word for "assignments" (which is NOT "asignaciones").
Many months ago I insisted on the issue and got really happy when I saw the Spanish word "Tareas" on the left menu band, but when I clicked there, the main page showed a different word "Asignaciones"!
The English word "Assignments" (with the meaning of "school tasks", "duties" or "homework") can be translated into Spanish as "Tareas" (the problem may be -I think- the coincidence with the "official" translation of the Planner app (Tareas).
Anyway, it is something to be studied and considered.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Francisco.

I confirm that the problem is solved in Teams Deskyop client, but not yet in the mail that we receive when we miss a chat.... It still use the work "Clavardag" (FR-Canada) instead of "Confersation" (FR-France)

Hi!
I have earlier been in contact with MS staff in Sweden with suggested changes in the Swedish Teams translation, and they have made corrections accordingly. Now I have more suggestions to report, but am a bit disappointed that the translation of new strings often is not very good. Either it is machine-translated, or translated by a person that is not at all aware of where and in which context the text is going to be used.
Can you tell us more about how the translations are made? It would be better if it came out correctly from the beginning so that we don't have to collect errors and report them. Thanks!

It is possible...Teams in Catalan?
