We have users that are still using Office 2010 and cannot upgrade to 2016 just yet but still want access to Teams. Are there any integration issues or features of Teams that will not work for this group of users? Since Teams is a client of its own I would imagine that most of the functionality through the client or the web will work just fine. Anyone have experience with this scenario?

If it's a volume license or retail version of Office 2010, it remains supported until 2020 in extended supported. In general, Microsoft does say if you're using an Office version in extended support:
I am not sure you will get assurances about this but it's unlikely to be an issue but there is an element of risk with the above caveats. At least one area where Teams integrates with Office is the Outlook add-in, which doesn't work with Office 2010 because of lack of modern authentication support.

@Newsonline Can you please tell me how to do this? I am using Outlook from Office 10 and downloaded Teams for free but can it sync them.
