Always Keep Teams Running?

I'm new to Teams and is the idea to always have Teams app running, even if in the background and minimized to the task bar? and all Team members doing the same?

Personally, I think it is good that it always runs in the background even if it is minimized. If, as you should, you actively use Microsoft Teams throughout the working day, you want to receive notifications if there is any relevant activity in the teams you are a member of and you want to be able to post messages and see when you get a response. On the other hand, if you have not yet come to the conclusion that Teams is a central tool for the organization's collaboration, you can deactivate this function. KeepTheApplicationRunning.png

Absolutely, how can you receive an instant message if it isn't running? How can you receive a call?

Just like Outlook, it should generally always be running.
