Adding a participant to an existing Teams Voice Call

Brass Contributor

When on a Teams Call and I wish to add another external participant, when they are called the displayed CLID is that of the Audio Conferencing service. Is there any way to change that so that it displays my CLID so that if the called party is unavailable they will see the appropriate CLID to enable them to call me back?

Hello @Stewart_Ross

As per the architecture for Microsoft Teams when we are making a One to One call the CLI ID for the original user who called will be displayed.
When we escalate a call from One to One Call to a multi-party call the call is hosted in the Microsoft Teams Conference and the additional leg of the call is originating from Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing bridge. This is the default behavior of the service and cannot be changed today.

In case Microsoft comes with a new feature release for manipulating the CLI in future it would be a interesting use case for everyone.
