Activity reminder in Shifts tab?

Copper Contributor

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if we can add a reminder to an activity during a shift in the shifts tab? Preferably so that this comes up as a notification via the app for whoever's shift it is?

New to Teams and looking to roll this out across the team but want to make sure everything we need is available before doing so.

TIA,

M

What we do see is a notification in the activity feed when a schedule is shared or when a request is submitted, however, only in the mobile Teams app.  With regard to assigned shifts, to try and mitigate this lack, you can ask your team members to configure notifications of upcoming assigned Shifts called "Shift Reminders" for up to 23 hours 59 minutes in advance of the shift. You find this in the Teams app under Settings | Shifts | Shift Reminders.

Hope this helps.

Ok thanks Krishna; so as an example I can't set a reminder to teach a fitness class at 10am during an 8-4pm shift so that they receive a notification on their phone reminding them to do so 15 minutes before?

We want to make this specific to team members and their shifts instead of to all staff (even to those who aren't working).

Thanks

Integrate Teams with Microsoft outlook and send a meeting invite to set of users and it will automatically show as a notification in Teams.
