Accessing PDF through Acrobat in New Teams

we have moved to the New Teams.   stored PDF doesnt open in Adobe Acrobat anymore. 
But with classic teams,  i can either open from Adobe acrobat or browser

Any advise pls?

Have you checked here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/new-teams-desktop-admin ?

not all features are available in the new teams. If you need this functionality for users I would setup a config rule to except those users.

I have the same issue. Classic teams opens/previews a file with Acrobat and I can edit right there. New teams is not. It just lets me view the pdf. I have done as you stated and made the necessary updates to the admin side 3-4 hours ago and it still is just showing a preview with no Acrobat functionality. Any idea as to why?
