Accessing a meeting that has already started without being admitted

Copper Contributor

Hello everyone,

I work at a school and am part of the instructional support staff. Our administrators asked the teachers to create a channel in Teams for their class and add them and support staff as owners so we have easy access to virtually visit classrooms without interuppting and having to be let in. Unfortunately this does not seem to be working as I tried to enter a class meeting that had begun and I had to wait for the teacher to let me in. I am a team owner so am trying to figure what we are missing. Thoughts? Thank you so much, any help or feedback is greatly appreciated! Jo

@JoBenitez Hello, this can be controlled with Teams meeting policies or by adjusting the Meeting options (per meeting).
