Hello everyone,
I had found some documentation regarding the limit of Microsoft Teams a regular end user can create being at 250. However, does this apply to how many Microsoft Teams a user can be a member of? Also, if a user leaves a Microsoft Team, does this number adjust to reflect their new number they are currently a member of?
Thanks!

Well, the maximum number of teams an Office 365 tenant can have is 500,000, so theoretical the limit of teams a user can be member of is... 500,000. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

If they're also guests of other tenants, it could be unlimited, hehe...
Another point though, unless they have a pretty extreme business use case and this is becoming an issue, you may want to look at training or some governance strategies to assist in controlling how people are utilizing Teams in your tenant.
Good info folks!

I’m not so fond of the term ‘unlimited’, because there’s always a limit. But the way you put it it’s getting **bleep** close.
Good point about some kind of governance or training, can’t be productive to be member of more then a couple of hundred thousand teams. ;)
