Meeting organizer and presenters now have the option to turn on Together Mode for all the participants in the meeting.
While turning on Together Mode in a Teams meeting, the organizer and presenters see a dialog box to select a scene and a new option to "Select Together Mode for everyone". This option is not selected by default. Once selected and after clicking on "Apply", the new scene will be selected and the Teams meeting view of all participants will get changed to Together Mode. New meeting participants will join in Together Mode view directly.
If this option is unselected, the new participants will stop joining in Together Mode view.
Meeting participants can always switch the Meeting view away from Together Mode to Gallery or Large Gallery view.
Available to everyone in Public Preview channel
Organizer or presenters can switch everyone to Together Mode view in the meeting by going to View Switcher > Together Mode > Selecting checkbox "Select Together mode for everyone" > Click Apply. (When organizer or presenters want to adjust the settings, they can go to View Switcher > Together Mode > Change scene > Uncheck "Select Together mode for everyone" > Click Apply.)
Note 1: If you need information about enabling the public preview itself, see “Enable the public preview for Teams” below.
Note 2: To be able to use this feature, meeting organizers or presenters need to be in Public Preview.
