In the assignments tab, a student is asked to select a class. This seems redundant - assignments can already be seen in each class.
What's really needed is a 'view all assignments'.
Ideally, presented in due order by default, but with the student able to flag an assignment as 'extra important' (E.g. a long term project) - and to be able to see then shown on a calendar view.
As a teacher, I likewise want to see an overview of all the assignments that I've set.
As a pastoral tutor, I might want to look at the workload for one of my tutees.
As a bare minimum, allowing a student to get an overview of all their assignments in one place seems like a basic piece of functionality that should be addressed.
