Students teams appointments not appearing on their calendar.

As a district we are using Teams for virtual meetings. Our teachers set up their teams, then created recurring appointments for their meetings. For some students the appointments are not showing up on their calendars unless they go in and purposely select add to calendar. We have also tried to have the teacher of the missing students add them as required attendants, but not does not always work either.   Is there another solution?
