Project to a laptop

I have a surface pro v4 and want to extend the display by using my home laptop, an older model Sony VAIO (it has no bluetooth connectability).  Is this possible to extend the screen, do I need a particular type of lead?

U do not need to need a particular type of lead, just upgrade your bluetooth drive. Then the problem will be fixed
