Surface Pro 6 is now supported on Microsoft Teams Rooms devices.  Check out specific SKU support by processor type, RAM, and storage size here.

One additional note - we're now in the process of updating references to "Skype Room Systems v2" with the new "Microsoft Teams Rooms" product name on docs.microsoft.com.  Expect to see the change in the coming weeks.

I've also moved my MTR blog postings to the Teams page starting with this posting.

Thanks, @David Groom.  With these posts previously on the Skype for Business blog, getting updates specific to rooms was fairly easy--it seems like that was the only thing posted to that blog on a regular basis.  With the move to the Teams blog, I'm concerned that MTR updates will get lost in the noise of everything else going on with Teams.  Is there a way with Tech Communities to have a sub-blog, or some kind of tag we could subscribe to for posts related to Microsoft Teams Rooms?

Kind regards,

Charlie

Hi, @Charlie Vogt.  I just added an "MTR" tag to the article.  Would that work if I continued tagging future articles this way?

Brass Contributor

@David Groom, that might work.  Admittedly, I'm not familiar enough with Tech Community to know what options are available.  As I click around, I can't find a way to subscribe to tags.  The front page of the blog can be filtered by a "label" which can be subscribed to.  Is it easy enough to add a label too?

Kind regards,

Charlie

Hi, @Charlie Vogt .  I'll add the "Meetings" label to each post.  That should allow you to narrow posts down using Filter within the Teams blog.  I'll also tag with "Microsoft Teams Rooms" or "MTR" - that will allow you to do a quick search in the "Search the community" field at the top of the page.  Hope this helps.

Thank you, @David Groom! This is very helpful!

Hi ! What is the case of use of a Surface pro in a MS Teams room setup ?

Any plans to support the Surface Go model so we open up the possibility for partners to produce an even smaller and cheaper alternative for even the smallest huddle rooms?

Microsoft

Hello, @Jonas Back - While Surface Go is not in the supported lineup, I recommend taking a look at the Microsoft Teams Rooms section of our Marketplace here for latest Huddle options.

@David Groom Great news to see that the 6 has been certified so quickly, thanks for the update.

To confirm, will DTMF in Teams mode be available in the next release of MTR?

Great to see SRS/MTR progressing - keep up the good work and we look forward to the future road map!

Microsoft

@Ben Dodson - we're working on getting DTMF supported.  Hoping that this will be in our next update.
