Microsoft Teams team is soon coming to a city near you with the Microsoft Tech Summit global roadshow, a free learning event for IT professionals and developers! Discover the latest trends, tools, and product roadmaps at more than 70 sessions covering a range of topics across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, which includes Windows 10, Office 365, and Enterprise Mobility and Security.

We will be hitting the road with our product experts to bring you two days of in-depth Teams sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences. Whether you are just getting started with Teams or guiding your organization through a large rollout, we will have the right content to help you through the journey. Here is an overview of the core product sessions that you will be able to attend:

  • Collaborate using Microsoft Teams, the hub for teamwork within Office 365: In this demo-rich session, we will look at how Teams makes collaboration a breeze by bringing together people, conversations, files and apps together in one place, including intelligent communications capabilities. We will also look at some of the exciting new features in the product.
  • Transform your communications with Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business: We recently announced a new vision for Intelligent Communications with Microsoft Teams - expanding beyond traditional unified communications to transform the calling and meeting experiences for your organization. Microsoft Teams will evolve to be the primary client for Intelligent Communications in Office 365, replacing the Skype for Business client over time. In this session, we will look at what this journey looks like for both IT and end-users.
  • An overview of Microsoft Teams' architecture, including security and compliance features:  Learn how Microsoft Teams has been architected in the cloud - what goes behind the scenes to bring conversations, people, files, apps, and communications capabilities into one great experience with Microsoft Teams. We will also look at how Teams provides the enterprise security, compliance and governance features you expect from Office 365, including eDiscovery and legal hold for channels, chats, and files.
  • Microsoft Teams Platform: Build apps for your modern teams: Empower your teams by building apps that integrate SaaS and enterprise line-of-business applications as native features of Microsoft Teams, the hub for teamwork in Office 365. Learn how to build, package, and distribute an app by walking through an example showing tabs, bots, compose extensions, and other Teams developer platform capabilities.

This year, we're also adding a new event Hub, the primary gathering place where you can learn, network with experts, meet partners, and visit the community theater. You'll also have direct access to Teams experts to ask your toughest questions, provide feedback, and share future product ideas!
