Using PowerPoint in anything other than via desktop view share does not allow for drawing on PowerPoint. Instructors like to draw on the slides in shared view. Several have reported when they display the PowerPoint any other way than in desktop view they lose the ability to draw on the slides.

This video helped with being able to see the slide along with the right side panes - https://youtu.be/vFQLanK7Gi4 but stopped short of showing how the panes appeared.

Hi @HermineTurner-FairyGeekMother,

Great suggestion. We have heard this one loud and clear :)

We have this on the backlog, we will update this UserVoice item as the development progresses: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/32026894

Thanks.

@Emily Kirby

Hi..im new  to Teams...just wondering if when I share a PP slide during a Teams presentation can other team members draw/annotate on the slide in real time as well? I know how to do it as the presenter, but not sure if this function can be done by others as well?

Thanks

Tony
