This would be the most interesting topic :)
May I ask your product group to have better focus to the "Cache issues". Here is a link to Google search with terms "Microsoft teams" "clear cache"
That gives 111 000 hits ! So in internet we have 111 000 proposal to clear cache on Microsoft Teams. Isn't that crazy ??
What I'm asking from your product group is to fix Teams client to recovery from the issues were normally people are proposed to clear cache. Why we need to do that? This sounds beyond year 2000 when the general proposal for Microsoft issue was: "restart your server". Who is really missing those days?
I'm 100% sure that your people can fix this if they try enough hard.
And money point, think again from business point of view: how many unnecessary support calls are removed from your queues when this gets fixed? I believe a lot!
I have also a user voice for this, but as you can see not so much votes :D
Can Microsoft Teams survive without clearing cache
I do not want to believe I'm alone with these thoughts.
And NO! The solution should not be just an easier way of clearing the cache from the client. I have seen request to get [Clear Cache] buttons. But that is not what I'm looking for. Solution like that I call with term: "gave up". You really should fix the code to avoiding these issues.

Hi @Petri X - there's a pretty large UV Item on this actually. There's some work to look into this functionality but no ETA around any functionality that can be fully delivered. This is actually a pretty tricky item, as:
1. Cache is helped to improve performance in the client. Clearing cache reduces performance which we don't want to always do.
2. When there's issues, we know that cache can cause this from time-to-time..
So there's some work to look into the best way to do this in the future but no ETA to provide on this unfortunately.

It might be tricky, no doubt. But those 111000 hits are not wrong either. There is a major problem on this. And please, please, do not give us a Clear Cache button Not even it is asked on that user voice, you can do that in better ways.
