Is it planned to allow us to re-arrange or edit all tabs in a channel?
I would like to create some specific channels that don't start with the conversation and file tabs.

I've had similar asks from my users. @Scott Winn would the ability to "pin" conversations as a Team Owner so they either never scroll completely off the screen, or are always displayed initially even if there has been no recent activity fit your needs? Or do you need something more in depth?

This is planned but needs more votes! Check it out: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16911532-ability-to-pin-messag...

I would like to make Files the first tab, not Conversations.

We have a similar requirement: we would like to rearrange the Conversations and Files tabs so that the Wiki App Tab is the fist (default) one when sombody enter a "channel".
Going even further, It would be great if could remove both the Conversations and Files tabs so that a Channel has only Wiki Application tabs.

Agree! Need to be able to re-order tabs in a channel, such as moving wiki to the first tab place.

@Mark Rubinstein I was searching for a similar request I'm getting from users. The ability to move (drag/drop) tabs from one Channel to another. Use case for this, is as work evolves/expands some content in that existing Channel may need to be moved to a more relevant or new Channel. Is this possible?

@David Rosenthal thanks for sharing the link. Sadly, it looks like the pin feature is on backlog :(

I would like to have Planner as my first tab. I'm not using Conversations so would rather have the default be my list of tasks.

We desperately need to open up automatically to the Files page, not the conversation page. Any way to make this as an option?

Somewhere along this thread we have gotten away from the original subject and request to rearrange (reorder) all of the Tabs. Another use case is when Wiki is used as the core reference, Conversations and Files are necessary yet secondary. Hope this feature gets prioritized to be released soon.

Another Scenario would be that we are using a Sharepoint Document Library for multiple teams to store docs and we use the "Website" Tab to place a link to the documents specific to each team. This way all docs are in a single location, but can still be seen in all the different Teams.
We don't actually use the "Files" Tab

Same scenario for us I have our SP library on a tab which I want to use rather than files. Also want to have planner as first tab.

In our scenario we make use of a hierarchy of Concepts and Use Cases. These are all Word documents. We want to make a tab from the concept document and use this as a table of contents. This document contains an description and links to all the use case documents.

And if we're talking about arrangement of Tabs, can we have the ability to return to the previously active tab, rather than always coming back to conversation. For example, I'm in a Team, in a Planner tab. I go off to do something else in another Team for a while and then when I return to my original team, I'm presented with the Conversations Tab. I then need to locate and click on the Planner tab. I'm sure not everyone will want this option (or not for every Team) so maybe it can be an option in Settings to "return to previous tab" or "Always return to Default tab".

My customers want to land on the "files" tab for some channels and random tabs for other channels. Just want the flexibility as everyone tries to move the 1st three tabs in different order so instead of having to request just those OOTB initial 3 tabs, why not make "ALL" tabs with the ability to reorder and many not delete but maybe hide "wiki" tab is not desired or never used.
