What are the current plans for utilizing Planner\Tasks within Teams? There hasn't been a significant update to this functionality since Teams release.
The communication features are great, but its frustrating having to use multiple solutions for task management, due dates, etc..
We experimented with Planner, but it doesn't integrate with Outlook tasks and isn't super visible within the Teams interface. We'd also like to be able to create standardized Plans with various recurring quarterly project tasks, but currently all those Tasks need to be manually created and assigned each time.
Hi Jeff, I use Microsoft Flow to integrate Planner with Outlook Tasks. When someone creates a task in planner and assigns it to someone, MS flow then creates a Task in Outlook and the person who is assigned the task gets notified via planner.
