Hi _tee_ Microsoft are currently working on it as confirmed by this user app https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16938955-add-a-whiteboard I voted, I would recommend you do to, drive as many to it as possible and keep an eye on developments. @Christopher Hoard, I know the reference you made here says complete for meetings, but what about in a regular channel or in a group or one on one chat?  Why can't a Whiteboard be added to that as well as it is an O365 app and should be a no-brainer!

You know, I should have thought of this earlier...

Simply add a web tab URL https://whiteboard.microsoft.com in the private chat or the channel, share the whiteboard wth the user (s). Assuming it is enabled in your tenant

@Christopher Hoard, I thought of that but it is a limited version.  It doesn't allow you to add the templates and the other things.  It really is for inking and erasing.  You can open in an app but it isn't as fully functional and I'd like to see it added with all the features and not need the other.  I added a template to a document and it doesn't show on the web version.

They ought to consolidate these uservoices and just surface the whiteboard everywhere. It ought to be a personal app on the left rail too, because I can't tell you how many times I whip out the whiteboard in demos
