Keeping Context when moving between teams/channels/chats

One thing I struggle with in Teams is that as everything is in one window it means that when you are switching tasks (chatting in multiple teams, getting an ad hoc chat while working in a Team, etc) you lose context.  It would be great if you could have chat in a separate window (more like SfB) to where the Teams work is.

Similarly when multiple threads are going on and esp if people don't @ mention then keeping track of what you've read/not read and even more important actioned/not actioned is incredibly hard.  It would be great if chats could be marked as needing to come back to or unread or somehow flagged so I can keep track of what's old and no longer relevant compared to what is critical.   Outlook does this by flagging, and setting read/unread.
