Is there a roadmap for Teams and VDI?

What's the roadmap look like for VDI support in Teams?  

Including installation location, as well as media offloading.

Hey Jeremy - VDI is a known requirement. Currently the team is evaluating the timing and resources. When we have more information we will add to the roadmap. In particular, which VDI scenario are you looking for?

Hi Paul, common scenarios included non-persistent desktops, and SfB functionality such as desktop sharing, voice and video.  Typically their using either the native Horizon or Citrix VDI solutions for SfB.  Haven't seen much use of the Lync VDI client.

We also have the need to  put Teams on  non persistent VDI.
