Will be there any quick way to edit the last message I send? Something like hitting the up arrow?

That's not quick enough. We don't want to navigate through menus for something that has to be as quick as one key shortcut

Agree with @Rui here. Skype desktop client is what you want to be aiming for in terms of features and functionality :)

We use it to correct typos or if we've hit enter too early, and the last thing we want to do is go back to the mouse

To add to Pauls response - We also do plan to support using the up arrow to get back into edit mode so you won't always have to go to the "...". Also, just for the clarity - you can only edit messages you have posted in the past 24 hours.

it would be greate to be able to edit messages that are older than 24 hours and see a changlog. Is this planned?

How is such a simple shortcut still not available is unbelieaveble. I understand if we were looking for a non-existing feature, but you have the feature already.

I am not able to edit my chat message with ... menu option. There is no option to edit the message.

Hi, you can only edit your own messages and only within 24 hours since creating them. I hope this helps.

apparently, there's an admin setting, the admin had to switch it on!

I tested and it's now possible to edit a post older than 24 hours. However, i didn't find the new rules. Sometimes I can, sometimes i can't (independently if I am a member or a owner). Do you know the new criteria ?!

Does anyone know what this mysterious admin setting is that allows one to correct their own message after sending it? This problem just happened to me. I wrote some rather lengthy instructions to my team, and now it is sitting out there with a mistake, and I cannot fix it. I just sent it!

Replying to a very old post but since it was the first that appeared when I did a search for the issue I thought I would put a reply here in case its relevant to anyone else.

Teams does have the ability to edit your last post as long as it hasn't been replied to yet by simply using the "up" arrow now.  

Hope it helps someone searching for this.
