Stream in SharePoint - video description invisible until clicked

See images. When a video is viewed in Stream, the description area appears as whitespace. If I float the pointer over it, it becomes gray, indicating it's active. If I actually click it, the description appears. How can I make the description appear without user intervention? Thanks.
