Why have video locations in two places.  Why not have the abilibty to link a video file in a Sharepoint/OneDrive library.  Should be able to have multiple sources stream can connect to via hyperlinks.  Kind of link PowerBI's Connectors to internal files as well as external files.

We would like to manage the content in SharePoint and use Stream for viewing purposes only.  Not looking for users to upload videos.  A controlled and managed portal.  SharePoint would use it's already built in file controls to manage the content.

Agree - How are we suppose to use videos already in SharePoint?

Do they need to be re-uploaded into Stream?

We do not want videos in two places

Hi Jeff. As you've probably heard, this is exactly the plan for file storage in New Stream, which will be coming soon. Video files will henceforth be stored in OneDrive and Sharepoint, allowing you to use ODSP file controls to manage content.
