Whenever a user visits a channel, the default sorting order is always based on Trending. It would be nice to be able to default to one of the other sorting options (Relevance, Publish date, Views, Likes).

Also, it would be nice if we could set the sorting order with a URL parameter. That way we can construct a URL that defines the sorting order for a specific channel when users click that URL.

Status changed to completed?  But it is not working?  I have to use a hashtag to group videos as I am not able to create or admin a channel due to company policy.  I cannot put a name order on the url (as mentioned in the original request) even though I went through the trouble to name them with a number first so they would be "in order" - :(

@ShelliG_N - Thanks to you and everyone else who commented on this Idea for Stream (Classic). You're correct, we only completed the first half of the request, and then turned most of our development efforts to the new version of Stream, which is built into the fabric of OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online (ODB/SPO). We're hoping that the playlist functionality coming there soon will better meet your needs in terms of flexibility and control without needing to be an admin.
