Yes please, this is really critical to be able to have a sustainable maintenance of videos over time. Same idea just with some other words can be found here.
I can understand the admin can give someone else Owner rights. But what I would like to achive is that the original ownership that is given to the one that uploaded the video is transferred. Only this person get the video listed under My content/videos.
@kayakgeekGo to "Discover/Videos" and turn on the new admin switch, if you are a Stream admin (or a Global tenant admin). New you can see all videos in Stream, even if it is not shared with you and the property "Allow everyone in your company to view the video" is not checked.
I think we misscommunicate on this topic or I have not understood what action I need to take.. I have no problem finding videos as an Admin but cannot find how to actually transfer ownership so another person than the one that uploaded the videos can get the videos he or she is responsible for listed under My content/videos. This is a growing issue in a large organisation with loads of people changing position and handover responsibility to a new person.
OK, checked in my tenant. Assignind owner rights does not show the video under MyVideos of the second owner, only of the initial owner. I think we should upvote this .
Thanks for all the feedback on this. We feel this pain ourselves, and it's on our radar. We'll provide an update as we move forward with our plan to move from classic Stream to New Stream.
