In our organization we have disabled the possibility to create Companywide channels meaning that people can only create Group Channels. However when a user tries to create a Group Channel and misses selecting a Group the following message appears: "The authenticated user is not authorized to access this resource".

 

This is confusing for the users and should state something more obvious and clear like: "please select the appropriate Group", etc.

Hi @Igor Sila.  Thanks for this feedback! We won't be adding this to Stream (Classic) at this time, and with the way we're replacing the concept of channels with folders and playlists in New Stream, I don't think this will apply. 

On a side note, when you say you "disabled the possibility to create Companywide channels," by what method did you disable that?
