Allow admins to specify/restrict which users and groups videos can be made visible to

***************

■Description(内容:(

Microsoft Stream

On Stream, users are able to change the publishing settings of videos they are the owner of such that they are visible to all users and groups.

In order to prevent accidental publishing of videos with all users or groups, please allow admins to specify publishing rights for users uploading videos.

Thanks @O365_Japan_Support! We have no plans to add additional publishing rights controls to Stream (Classic) at this time. For the scenario you describe, one option we can recommend is to take one or more of the following steps...

  1. Restrict employees who can create content
  2. Set Default video permissions to "Specific groups and people"
  3. Set clear company usage guidelines that users have to accept before uploading content, and as a reminder to them, reset the policy periodically so they must read and accept the usage guidelines again.

While not providing the complete control that some admins would prefer, these steps should prevent accidental publishing of videos to all members of an organization.
