I just created a group for my department, in preparation to upload some training videos, but much to my dismay I just saw that all 150 employees got an email announcing that they can now go into the channel and watch the videos.

We were not ready to have these videos be viewed yet. There was NO indication that an email would be sent, so can you please, at the very least, let us know when an alert like this is going to be sent out?

But please, just as in Sharepoint, let us choose to not send a notification if we add someone to a group.

Hi David. Thanks for the input! If you are still getting those email notifications and they're coming from Stream, please DM me or attach a screen shot. If they are generic Office 365 "you've created a Group" notifications, that's not something we would control in Stream.

In good news, New Stream uses SharePoint for storage, so you'll get the same kind of control there that you prefer.
