It would be nice to have an ability to apply metadata to a video and ability to sort/filter/search by those metadata values in SharePoint sites. This way a desired and branded presentation layer can be developed on SharePoint sites/portals for a specific video channel.

Ability to apply a set of metadata to a video that can then be used to conduct a search.

How about the option for admin to configure additional metadata that needs to be filled. This helps to maintain search result fidelity when the the video is searchable from another application within O365 or elsewhere.

Would really like this feature, it would really connect Stream and SharePoint

We would like to create a Knowledge Base for our programmers, for example, using a SharePoint site that would contain documents, presentations and videos in a single, searchable location. We have a page on our site connected to the Stream channel and displaying the videos within. When videos are in Stream, you can search there, but I'd like all content, including videos and documents, to be easily found from the SharePoint search facility.

We would like to create a notifications style hub where users can be notified about new content relevant to their preferences (based on our SharePoint term sets), so it would be great to see this in Stream.

Search is seriously lacking both in the Web UX and the mobile app.  It returns way too much and actually times out most of the time from either UX.  I picked this thread as it had the most upvotes related to Search.  I many other things related to search including to Metadata, transcript, etc.  These are all focused on the same thing...Search isn't working very well.  Is there anything going on to improve this?

I'm working for a company where this would be crucial. We need custom fields like director, director of photography, script, editor, year, and so on. I hope this will be implemented soon.
