Why can't users embed Videos from Stream into PowerPoint presentations

I have a number of engineers who regularly insert  > 600mb videos into their PowerPoint presentations for presenting at workshops and conferences, they are currently uploading videos to Stream however I've noticed that Stream videos cannot currently be embedded into PowerPoint. Is this a feature under development?
