Viewing Videos company wide

We are looking at using Microsoft Stream instead of Dropbox to help control permissions on videos, and allow only our entire interal company to videw videos. We started uploading videos and then created a direct link to the video. I tested it out, and was hoping the link would just bring the employee to a login page, they would log into Office 365 and then the video would show and play, but instead it sent them to the Stream page, I had to click sign in, and then it wanted to walk them through the setup of their Stream account. Are viewers of videos also required to have a license and setup an "account"? Is there a way to achieve what I want?

@Tyler Miller - this should work as you describe assuming users either signed up once or have Office 365. If neither then they would need to sign up.
