Stream stats.

I'm confused as to why there aren't better analytics for Stream and why stats vary so much depending on where you are looking.
If I find a video in my content (in Stream) it displays a views count which is completely different to the views count that shows on the webpart when embedded in a SharePoint site.
Why is there a difference? And why is it (as with so many Microsoft apps) that Stream is so far behind on some of these features? Surely it's not hard to look at other video platforms to get inspiration on how to make them work well?

We are not making updates to Stream classic anymore. But if you put your videos directly in SharePoint there are several analytics available now...
Trend of views and unique users over last 90 days

Viewer retention to see which part of the video is viewed the most

Site analytics for which files including videos are viewed most
